A Note From The Artist:
Liza was brought to life with Genesis Heatset paints. These wonderful paints are permanent, therefore guaranteed to never fade or chip. She was given several thin coats of paint to achieve a realistic skin tone appropriate to baby's age, in this case a newborn baby look was achieved by applying several layers in different shades and textures. I am very pleased the way this little one turned out! She has amazingly realistic looking skin with nice depth and translucency. Liza's beautiful black baby soft hair was micro rooted with a tiny needle allowing no more than 3 hairs per follicle. I gave her lots of black hair commonly seen in bi-racial and Hispanic babies. The needle directionally inserted for a more realistic appearance. It was then sealed with a strong adhesive from inside her little head to ensure it stays in place under your loving care. Her new mommy may dampen and style it as desired. She has a small magnet in the inside of her little head to hold her little bow in place (please use caution around pacemakers and other electronics). Baby Lisa has 3/4 arms and legs. She is cuddly enough to sink right into your arms. She was weighed with ultra fine glass beads which were safely encapsulated before inserting into her little head and tummy. Her limbs were are filled and tightly sealed with polyfil and a strong, water proof adhesive. She can wear newborn size 0-3 baby clothing.
