Shaun wears newborn-sized clothing. Because he has 3/4 limbs, he can wear a wide variety of outfits, including short-sleeved tops, bubbles & shorts. This allows you to enjoy the lovely coloring & sculpt of the limbs.

Shaun has a warm complexion. I used high quality Genesis Heat Set Paints so that his coloring will never fade. His skin tone is mottled & I applied pale washes of blue & purple in those areas where the skin would normally be thin. I applied the colors in dozens of thin washes, so that his complexion has depth. Unlike many reborns who have a sandpaper feel, my babies have a pearly smooth finish that is wonderful to touch.

Shaun has a high quality, flesh colored doe-suede body, perfectly proportioned for him. His body is fully jointed so that he is very poseable. His limbs have been filled the finest glass beads so that you do not feel the filling through the vinyl. His body is weighted with steel pellets, encased in fabric, together with premium quality polyfill. I used poly pellets to weight his head, & it will need to be supported a little when he is picked up & held – just like any newborn.

Shaun is not a toy & is he not recommended for children. He was made with the highest quality materials, & with great attention to detail. Many hours of work went into reborning this little boy, & he is meant for the serious collector.

Shaun is such a tiny, precious little boy. His little head fits perfectly in your hand. He is perfectly weighted so that he feels wonderful in your arms.

Shaun will be coming home with a beautiful knit, Fair Isle-style romper. He will also come home with a blue, fleece hoodie, with matching printed pants, along with a white onesie, fresh diaper, magnetic pacifier & a baby brush & comb set. Sorry, but the stuffed toys, & blankets are props & are not included.
